A Sestina Poem
Here, with painted toes hidden in the sand,
An everlasting bond between the friends.
A luminous bird sings its song,
Along with the joyful laugh of coconuts
A young man strums his diluted ukulele
In sync, the gorgeous ocean.
But assisting the tune of the ocean,
A surfer's board hits the sand.
And the soft but saccharine ukulele
Assembles the smiles of the friends.
The bristled coconuts
Seem to carry out the beach's song.
But there are many things creating her song.
Like the rolling ocean,
Or those infamous coconuts.
Building castles in the sand,
Some children stop by the friends,
They ask, "What about the man with the ukul
